We got him! He's absolutely a riot. We both had the day off yesterday so we picked him up at noon when the shelter opened and played all afternoon. I can't believe how fast he wormed his way into our home and our hearts.

    This is Frisbee.

He loves hanging out on the ledge that runs around our living room and bedroom. It's at ground level so lots of birds and squirrels to look at.

Aw, Frisbee has an adorable black nosetip I love the way he's gracefully folded himself to maximize his use of the shelf.

Indeed! I am also impressed that he isn't hiding until he gets used to his new home. Most of my cats over the years have done that for at least a day or so.

I was all prepared for him to hide for a few days too. But we let him out of the container and he walked the perimeter of every room of the house smelling, then sat down to play. Which he's now been doing for 24 hours.

Yay, Atlas. Congrats on your new furbaby! He looks like an awesome cat, and good on you for giving a shelter cat a home!

How old is Frisbee and how long had he been waiting for you at the shelter?

Tortilla was there a month (and it the kill shelter), she must have just been waiting for us! She was a year old and surely overlooked because her former owner declawed her. Our street is busy so I didn't want an outside cat to be stressed over the speeding teenagers. Funny is she will go sit on the back patio but won't go further. She comes back when you call her, she is the perfect indoor cat!

I'm not sure if any of you remember the emotional roller coaster I went on last summer looking for a cat for my parents. I was finding the process very difficult. There were so many lovely cats at the SPCA and I could only take one...

Anyways, long and short, since my Dad passed away in November, my mother's been going back to Japan for extended periods of time so I have Bun-bun (formerly Boo, my dad changed it) with me. He's sweet but VERY skittish and the last time I tried to take a picture he quickly ran away after seeing the camera. I was able to sneak this one. He loves cats and has really taken to my male cat, Bun worships him. Bun-bun's on the right, left is my Morley.

    AWWW, how sweet.

I've been thinking about getting Calypso a playmate. She's enjoyed my being home all week, and seems to think my home PT time is "catch the foot" play time . Wonder how she'll do when I go back to work tomorrow.

I do remember the roller coaster you were on last summer regarding the cat.
Bun Bun has the same coloring as the cat I recently lost. The two of them look very content together.

I'm sad that my work computer won't show me most of the pictures posted but Frisbee is adorable and looks like a ton of fun

As far as my pets go I have a Chinchilla "Mouse Mouse!" <-- Thank my dad for the name

A pony, well, a horse actually. Honey as a 14 yr old TWH, She was rescued from a meat truck and donated to a rescue facility where the owner thought she was too dangerous to keep as a program horse (that's what she rehabed horses for) so she thought of the crazyest person she could think of and that's how I ended up with her! She's actually quite sweet 98% of the time.. It's just the other 2

A Doggie, Romeo, or Romie or Romey, He was a drop off, that was a total pain in the neck, no training what-so-ever and adout as easy to train as a mexican jumping bean, after trying to re-home him for about a year and having him returned after only a day or so on multiple occasions, I gave up and kept him much to my parents dis-pleasure He's the love of my life and a wonderfully obedient companion most of the time, He's also a great trail runner and Mtn biking dog, dispite getting fatter and fatter daily he still keeps up lol

    Romo as a puppy

I have many more critters up in PA at my parents farm but these are my babies that I get to spend every day with Sorry for this being so long!

Yay for Frisbee! He immediately got comfortable, Tortilla took about 24 hours.

I can see Minnie Mouse, she is a doll. My cousin needed to rehome is Chinchilla but DH said no, luckily he found it a happy home.
