Well, I can't say that I've ever had to do this myself, but I would ice it. Take an NSAID, too. Staying off your bike for a couple of days isn't a bad idea either.

My girly bits are pretty sore after a clipless fall the other day in which edge of my saddle made hard and violent impact between my legs![]()

Obviously my bike stayed between my legs during the fall.
I credit my saddle as the only reason I am able to ride - the cutout is in the right place for me. I am sure there is at least some bruising, but I did think that the soreness was gone...until my 22 mile ride tonight.
It wasn't bad enough to stop my ride, but I've an all-day mountain bike clinic on Sunday, and I really want this to be gone by then. It won't stop me if it isn't - but it would be a little more comfortable if it is. I suspect the only answer here is "time" but figured if there are any tried and true remedies for such things that someone here would know...
I really don't want to stay off the bike this week - I NEED to get out there in this heat and put some miles on this week to help my heat tolerance this weekend....that is my story and I am sticking to itNo sharp pain or anything, just tissue soreness.

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

The padding seems to help...I will TRY the iceI can go hiking or something for another day or two - I took yesterday off but it wasn't enough.
I know there will be a lot of starting and stopping at the clinic, so it won't be like I will be in the saddle all day without a break...
Maybe try some epsom salt soaks to bring down any swelling and soreness.... it worked after an episiotomy when I had my first child anyway.
