Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

Congrats!
Dear Stray Cat aka "Bubbles",
Had I known you were a fake and in real life we are enemies, I wouldn't have fed you for three weeks, touched you or let you stay in my lap while tinkering with my bike.
However; I will gladly make a truce that if you don't try to eat me when I am visiting your human, I will allow you back on my property and continue have a pretend relationship. I may even feed you some food occasionally now that I know who you are.
Back story: Bubbles is one of those cats that will turn on you for no reason. She was in my lap several years ago and bit my arm with her teeth and drew blood. She did this a couple of times and she was no longer allowed to be with visitors and I haven't seen her for a long time. I didn't even know she was alive. I had wondered if the cat was Bubbles, but she was too friendly with me so I pushed the thought away.
It wasn't until yesterday that her son was out back, saw the cat and verified that she was Bubbles that I fell over in shock and laughter. Talk about feeling betrayed. She's a fake! I guess the good food I was feeding her was enough to have her "like" me.
Perhaps there was something going on with her a few years ago that made her behave that way? If she had some health issue at the time it may have contributed to it - either that or your food and lap are much better than what she has become used to!
There used to be a kitty next door to me with a horrible attitude. I was terrified of Jerri, she'd scratch and bite at will. As she got older, she mellowed, and became quite a nice cat. Maybe some cats are like people, they mellow with age.....
