    All Good

I've been lurking here a few months now But have decided to leap in. Just wanted to say that I got a bike for my birthday (Jan) to save on petrol and cycle to and from work. Only just over 6k but 2.5k is a very solid hill- let's just say I get to work way faster than I get home But wanted to share that when I started it took me 50 mins to get home and now it takes me 37 minutes. And I went out for my first 10k run of the year yesterday. Meeting a friend for coffee tonight and I'll cycle to the cafe and cycle home afterwards. Think I'm enjoying this 'bike thing'

Welcome to the forums! When you get a chance, hop on over to the Getting to Know You! thread (it's under General Discussion / Open Topic) and tell us a little about yourself.

And congrats on your improvement in speed and your obvious delight with cycling.

That's fantastic! Isn't it great to see improvement so quickly and best of all it's massive fun!

I know exactly how you feel, I'm still a newbie too, started about 6 months ago, and you'll be amazed how far you come in such a short time. Someone told me a couple of months ago in this forum, that pretty soon, it's not how far you can ride, but how much time you have to ride... So you'll soon be clocking up the 10km, then 20km, then 30+ in no time at all!
