I've decided that I am eating too many carbs and too much fat on non-ride days. I've gained a little weight and body fat which I am not happy about - riding more will take care of that but I need to keep a tighter rein on my diet for non-ride days.
Yesterday:
B: Steel cut oats with blueberries, a little PB + skim milk and coffee
S: Chobani non-fat yogurt
L: two thin slices whole wheat sourdough bread with two slices turkey bacon, sprouts and tomato. Apple.
S: banana
D: Cliff bar
S: small amount of bran cereal with low-fat chocolate milk....I need to go shopping.
14 mile ride to work
B: non-fat greek gods yogurt with honey and kashi go lean
S: fruit and nut granola bar
L: turkey sandwich, PB + Cheese crackers, 1 choco chip cookie, 1 apple
S: bell pepper sticks, 2 oz grilled chicken
14 mile ride home from work
D: strawberry lassi and macrobiotic thai dumplings

I finally got up the nerve to weigh myself today (after vacation and being sick). Not the worst, but I have work to do.

L: Roasted skinless chicken breast, romaine lettuce, vinaigrette dressing
S: Apple
D: Whole Wheat wrap with skinless chicken breast and sprouts
1 hour bike ride
S: apple & 1/2 cup no-fat cottage cheese
B: rice chex, strawberries, raspberries, 1% milk, coffee
S: 1 banana and cherries
L: edamame and 3 small spring rolls
D: salmon, rice pilaf, vege salad, green leaf lettuce, spinach, sorrel, yellow squash, green beans, red bell pepper, italian dressing.
Oh dear, i believe today is not going to be good!
I went out for breakfast:
B: swedish oat pancake with syrup and apple sauce (wow that was the densest (Sp??) pancake I have ever eaten - it was good tho!
L: So far, I've had a handful of potato chips
and tonight we're off for dinner at my favorite mexican place so you know where that will go, lots of fat, lots of margarita,
Oh, well, can't eat right every day!
