So tired of snow... just need to rant/whine

It's snowing... again... on Memorial Day Weekend. *sigh* Our April 1 snowpack was 175% of normal, and it's snowed a number of times since. Tonight we're expecting 6-10 more inches. FEH!

My SO is threatening to move back to Tennessee. I don't think she's kidding. Even I'm done with it. I don't know if we'll ever get a summer. I don't know if my bike will make it off of the trainer.

I'm really starting to get depressed.

You need to drive down our way. Come spend a weekend in Walnut Creek and ride Diablo. We're like 10-15 degrees below our regular temps, so it's quite pleasant.

Snow? It's almost June! Think it was 86 here today - 88 tomorrow. Come to NC!

But seriously, poor you. I don't like cold weather so would be a whining baby if I lived there. Hope you get some spring soon!

I'm feeling the same way about all the rain here. Friday and Saturday were really nice and was able to bike to work, but the rest of the week looks like rain...rain...rain... Maybe by July things will dry out?

We are still getting snow here too!!! There are a few mountain passes that are always closed in the winter and CDOT plows them to get them open by Memorial Day.....well they are still closed due to all of the snow. Some ski resorts are planning on staying open until mid june to possibly July.

Sorry, Ladies, I'm just glad your snow stayed north this time and didn't get me. We have tons of wind due to the storms just north of us; but thank you no snow!

Good luck on the race, V!

I may just show up on your doorstep sometime. I'll be the pitiful looking one. We got about 8 inches at my house (6500 ft). Squaw Valley got over a foot of snow. Boreal ski area is hosting a ski/snowboard camp... on JUNE 30th... feh

I worked the graveyard shift last night. All we saw was car accidents when people slid out in the snow. The CHP, paramedics and town police were all singing the same song: I'm Over It!

    We're having it too.
One of the resorts is hoping to be open for skiing on the 4th of July.
Each day is a gift, that's why it is called the present.
