That's awesome, Carol. Good luck to the team. I hope they have a safe and successful race!

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

That is FABULOUS. I love it. If you guys need stuff that we could help with....tell us on this forum, okay?![]()
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks
Best wishes to you and your team!

Woohoo! I'll look out for you guys! Our team is RAAM Boomers. Say "hi" if we cross paths!
edit: I'm not joining the crew until they get to Colorado, so don't look for me earlier!
edit, take 2: and I think we're still looking for another crew member, so if it sounds like the best way to spend your summer vacation, lemme know!

For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
The only thing we need is how to figure out how to pay for it. We've actually gotten a few donations but since we are not a non profit group it's tough. We're all pitching in. It's really our dream
Well, we came in fourth out of 32 four-man teams, so as rookies, we feel pretty good. At least two of the racers are planning on doing it again. I'm still undecided. It was an experience of a lifetime that I'm not sure I want to repeat...
That is so fantastic! I met a man at an organized ride on Saturday who says he's involved with organizing the time stops. I'm not in a position to do it yet, but one day I'd really love to crew for a RAAM team, or be involved with the nuts-and-bolts side of it somehow. Once you've caught your breath, maybe you could give us a narrative of your experience?
