... so, my work computer got upgraded Friday. I got it back and upgraded to the most recent Firefox.

All my bookmarks are GONE. Firefox had an option to "restore" -- from LAST FRIDAY. Yes, I clicked it, but clearly it was last friday after everything had been erased -- or, it just doesn't work.

So... what are the first bookmarks I restored? TE, Facebook, and Cyclelicious. Hmmm... well, it *is* sort of "down time" here... now I wish I had re-figured out the "bookmarks synch" thing.

That is a real headache. HOpe you become efficient once more again with bookmarks.

Ugh. I know I can always restore them on IE (which, unfortunately, I still have to use sometimes) but mine always disappear on firefox too. I think I used to import the bookmarks from IE to Firefox but now I just don't bother.

    Such a pain, I'm sorry.

Bummer Sue, I always dread the emails from IT telling to "log off in preparation of an upgrade" it usually means my computer won't work the next day.

    Gheez, what PITA, so sorry.

Last time I had a cell phone crash not backed up it was like re-evaluate clutter busting lol. If I hadn't used the number in a while, did I really need it in my phone. Probably the things you added back on are the main ones you use. The others, how long can you go without them? Maybe forever and never miss them?

I have a bunch stuff saved on my desk top I'm thinking could be trash.

Hope you get it all worked out!
