I did this ride last year. It was very eerie to see the long line of 50-60 bikes traveling slowly, in almost single file, especially with the lights on as it got to be dusk. There will be one again in my area this year, and my bike club is working hard to get even more participants. There have been several serious or fatal bike/car accidents on that stretch of road where the Ride is conducted and as a result we are heavily involved in bicyclist advocacy. Definitely worthwhile.
