Running Mom - funny I saw your photos and thought I was looking at myself. We have similar bodies although I'm bigger on top and smaller on the bottom but still a big girl (now don't get sensitive).
Also didn't realize you live in AZ. At the end of April/beginning of May another group I belong to ( see http://www.bicyclegroup.com) is holding its annual gathering in Scottsdale AZ. It's scheduled to be 3 - 6 days of mtb and road riding and other general festivities. Check out the thread for AZ gathering if you are interested. This is a great group of folks and a chance for you to meet other AZ riders (we are a national group but many members are in AZ).
