Just saw this post. I would love to join you all for a ride, but am a complete newbie. Anyone else not a seasoned hardcore cyclist? I work every other weekend, so I could go provided it didn't conflict with work. Sounds like fun!

Thanks, Biciclista! I know you all don't mean to intimidate me, but sometimes I don't understand half the stuff y'all talk about

    MICK JAGGER FRIES.....yummmmmmm....

    Mid-June maybe?

VeganBC, this is a social ride, no fear and all welcome! Hey, I hear most of those gates on the Centennial trail are gone, so maybe I won't have to do the slow Arte Johnson topple over to the side move this time.

    NbyNW, you belong here! Yay!

I'd love to join -- and meet in person! -- you ladies, and the Centennial Trail sounds lovely. A Sunday afternoon mid-June would be good for me...

If we're planning mid-June, I can do the weekend of the 18th. Otherwise I'll meet up with you all another time

Thanks for getting this started again! I've got the weekend of the 18th available too. Is there a preference for Saturday vs. Sunday?

Well, I am once again doing the Five Mile Lake Women's sprint on Saturday the 18th, but a nice Mick Jagger fries ride with some buddies old and new on Sunday sounds very nice!

The fries are on the menu at a little place in Snohomish. They are sweet potato fries drowning in butter and brown sugar. They are wicked and evil

A few years ago, MM-QFC and NbyNW and I went for a Centennial trail ride. MM took us to--I think it's the River Pub---in Snohomish afterwards, and that's what we ate. Sweet potato fries in a melted butter/brown sugar sauce. After we finished the fries, we ate the remaining sauce with our spoons. My, it was good!

    Looking forward to meeting folks!

I could do the 19th. My dad is low maintenance and all the way on the east coast, he's happy to get a phone call.

If the holiday is out the 26th looks good, too!

Weeellll, the best laid plans of mice and cycling gals...
My bumm knee bothered me enough, and I finally saw someone here about it. Am scheduled for ACL repair next week, June 1st. Not really certain that a bike ride will be on the approved list of things to do.
