did you look at the litespeed bella? I know the smallest size has 650 wheels. Bonktown has had it recently

They've downsized a bit since I got my frame, but I think TiCycles still makes their Hyak frame in a 48 with 650's. I have one that I got as a prize. It is a nice bike. (I can measure the standover for you if you'd like - they don't have much info on the web site anymore)

I just heard back again from Lynsky that they are not trying too hard: "Our standover is measure center of the top tube so you may have some room just in front of the saddle."
Then he pointed me toward my local dealer, which I already knew about.
If I decide to drop coin on a custom I'd go look at Moots or Eriksen (both in Steamboat Springs, CO).
I saw a Bella on ebay. I'd like to stay with 700c wheels.

Drats. I'm prepared to sell a custom Moots frame that I own (it's unfortunately a little too small for me). It has a 500mm tt, but the standover (measured in the center of the top tube) is 726 mm. Otherwise, it could work for you.![]()

It's a shame. It pains me that a bike this nice is just hanging on a wall in my house. But you have motivated me to get my act together to get it sold. I keep thinking that nobody out there could possibly need a bike this small, and you've proven me wrong. It may take a while, but I'm hoping it finds a new home.
Good luck with your search!

Darn double darn. I just went and looked at the standover of the Surly Pacer I used to ride. It was 71.5. At my limit. I don't think I could handle another cm taller. If I could I'd love to see if I could offer your Moots a home.
