    new bike :)

Ok, I got the new bike about two weeks ago!! I absolutely love him. Unfortunately, about 2 days before I got him I had a stupid crash on my old bike( bunnyhopped a crack for fun and apparently my front skewer had worked loose and i endo-ed , broke my nose) and I had sinus surgery/deviated septum surgery/fix fracture surgery this past monday so haven't ridden at all this week.

anyways here is a photo of the new bike for those who didn't see him on FB- I am in absolute love, super light, handles great- barely shift weight for turns and responds to acceleration like a dream.

He is the BMC TeamMachine SLR01 built up with SRAM Force. I also bought a powertap wheel off of the rep the other weekend at a race( demo, about 75 miles on it- DT Swiss rim with the pro hub)

    Thanks all

the green saddle is a test saddle- fizik, not my fav- went back and ordered my tried and tru WTB Diva.

Rode today for the first time since surgery on Monday, just easy 1.5 hrs, hr under 130.

looking forward to healing up and hitting some speed with it

Very nice! Hope your nose heals quick - that's got to hurt.

Congrats on your new bike. He's a good lookin' thing

And good luck to you on the sinus surgery. It's not a pleasant surgery but you will be glad you did it once you heal up.

    Kermit,

I wasn't in love with it... I ended up ordering my tried and true WTB Diva, which I absolutely love(now on my 3rd one). I thought I would give the fizik a try, because the shop had it in stock, but I kept having to move around- just couldn't get comfy. It also felt a little wide at the nose, could feel it on my legs.
