Sounds like a great plan! Consider it done!

Boy! Have I been busy! I got those flat old fashioned pedals and away I went I rode this morning and was back by 1pm. The mail came @ 2:30 and so I stopped housework and went out to get it. All the way to the mailbox, I was thinking...I should be out riding my bike!

Katz, 1st of all welcome to the wonderful world of biking and of course to TE! Good choice to share here. You got lots of advice and look at you now!!!

Have a great time riding. Those pedals will be there when (and if) you are ready. Until then, just have a great time. Took me a couple of years to get to clipping. Wow, you tried on your first ride. You are way more brave than I am.

When I did learn, I sat on my bike in the lawn and held onto the fence and clip and unclipped about two million times before venturing out into the lawn!

I still unclip (with both feet) any time I even think I might need to be unclipped. Works for me.

    Have fun.
