    S: 1 banana
    L: pumpkin chocolate muffin with coffee
    S: bowl of mashed potatoes with leftover gravy
    D: grilled steelhead trout, leaks, onions, mushrooms, fresh tomato, fresh garlic, baby artichoke sauce with fettucini, 1 glass of chardonnay
    Dessert: 1 frozen drumstrick ice cream treat

    Pre-workout snack: apple
    Weights and some cardio in hotel fitness center

    B: egg white omelet with turkey and cheese, 1 piece toast, skim milk and coffee
    L: chicken thigh, fish (never seen both served together), asparagus and green beans, rice, 3 small bites of delightful cheesecake
    S: banana
    Reception: 4 crackers with small amount of goat cheese and Brie
    D: Cliff bar - just wasnt hungry

    Back to fitness center and did some cardio on bike and elliptical. I MISS my bike...

    I had to eat at least part of the slice of cake the clinic staff made for the interns for our graduation

    Yesterday:

    B: Cereal, protein powder, walnuts, almond milk & coffee (2 c.)
    S: 1 small brownie
    L: Almond butter on slice of whole-grain toast, cup of low-fat yogurt, oj
    S: carrot, celery, spinach blender drink

    90 minute bike ride (recovery pace, riding with a friend who is a newbie)

    D: whole grain wrap with chicken, black beans, tomato, cheese, lettuces; 1 beer
    Dessert: square of mango custard stuff my DH made (yummy)

    Too much...
    B: half a Luna Bar before 13.5 mile ride at 5:15 AM, half a whole wheat bagel with melted cheddar, and an orange, coffee after the ride.

    L: more of the homemade chicken salad from last night (a scoop), an apple

    snack/appetizers in class, in celebration of our last clinical seminar: a few pita chips, veggies, hummus, bruschetta dip. I didn't really eat too much of it, but..

    D: chicken sausage with tomato sauce over polenta. I couldn't finish it.

    Too much...

    B: ham & cheese omelet, toast, fruit, coffee
    L: chicken breast, salad, rice pilaf, 1/2 piece cheesecake
    D: hotel buffet with a few others: chicken, salad, chicken gumbo.... And blackberry cobbler with ice cream!

    I need to work out but feel like a beached whale - I will a little later when I've digested some of my dinner.

    What IS there about traveling that makes it so easy to eat too much
