    I spoke too soon - was up a lb. this morning! But I did overdo the eating a bit yesterday. Hopefully today's run helped a bit, but I ate enough to make up for the calories. Kicking myself b/c I ate a bag (candy-bar size) of M-n-Ms, even. I never eat stuff like that, but they were a gift left from our apartment maintenance guys (they leave them when they come in to replace filters), and I was starving this afternoon after my run.

    Today:

    B - organic whole grain cereal, protein powder, chopped mango and almond milk on top, 2 cups coffee
    S - Stonyfield OG low-fat banilla yogurt
    ~~ 3.25 mile run ~~
    L - 1/2 cheese sandwich on whole grain bread, lettuce, small amt. mayo, tangelo, water
    S - M-n-Ms
    S - carrot/celery/spinach/oj blender drink
    D - kale, tomato, roasted red peppers on whole wheat pasta with feta, salad w/homemade dressing, glass of white wine
    D - 2 small squares very dark chocolate (should have stuck with one!)

    I decided to add a little more whole wheat carbs back in, in the AM, as I am still hungry, even with all the protein I eat. I'm having a lot of allergy issues, and craving comfort food.

    half a whole wheat bagel with low fat cream cheese, egg whites (2), strawberries and blueberries
    string cheese
    lentil salad
    cranberries and nuts
    ate the other half of a bagel with hummus when I got home

    whole wheat Boboli with low fat mozzarella, goat cheese, chicken, slices of peaches, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil (2 slices) and a salad,
    1 piece of dark chocolate

    2 eggs, 2 slices ww toast
    slice of ww bread with pb and a banana
    slice of veggie no cheese pizza (not by choice) and 4 pierogies (I keep these in the freezer at work, which is why I eat them so much on commute days)
    string cheese to make up for the pizza
    a couple of pieces of pate de fruit, before my ride
    2 bowls of pasta with spinach and tomato sauce
    a pear
    a bowl of raspberry sorbet and vanilla bean ice cream
    a slice of toast with butter

    I swear, any saving I have in gas from commuting, I make up for in food. My weight's been dipping, and I don't like to get too thin, because my face gets gaunt. I need to buy more nuts.

    coffee
    during a 39 mile ride i ate a Luna Bar and a pack of nuts/cranberries. The ride went through lunch time and I was starving, despite my big breakfast.
    open faced chicken and provolone sandwich on the other half of whole wheat bagel, an orange, piece of dark chocolate
    a few crackers with sun dried tomato dip, with 1.5 glasses of champagne, in celebration of finishing my course work with a friend who was over for dinner, one boneless chicken breast with dijon mustard/cider sauce, brown rice with almonds, a salad, frozen yogurt, strawberries, and chocolate sauce

    oatmeal with a banana
    cheese sandwich on whole wheat
    noodle soup with spinach
    burrito with brown rice, hominy, zucchini, corn and spinach, with guacamole in a whole wheat tortilla
    an orange, a pear, and a cherry Greek yogurt

    I didn't ride, so I wasn't very hungry.

    B-cornflakes with skim milk, 2 cups of tea with skim milk and small tangerine

    L- 1 large whole wheat pita bread with nothing else. Not totally healthy but a piece of rhubarb tart and coffee with milk. Another tangerine

    S- pan-seared bison with a salad, squash ravioli and strawberry-mango dessert with a dollop of yogurt all drizzled with red wine that he is inventing. White wine on side.

    lunch (during ride) soy nut butter and jelly sandwich on small slice whole wheat bread, pack of nuts and cranberries

    appetizer of slices of Machengo cheese, whole wheat pita chips with bruschetta dip, glass of red wine

    Lunch: ham/cheese quiche (was famished when I got to my hotel)
    S: apple
    D: draft Fat Tire beer, chips/dip, grilled chicken, wonderful veggie blend...then I looked at the dessert table and gave into the allure of cheese cake

    It is like midnight my time, or close to it, and am exhausted after that meal & very long travel day + first conference session. I will have to do much better if I've any hope of weighing the same Thursday.

    Alarm is set for a very early trip to the fitness center

    L: pumpkin chocolate muffin with coffee
    S: bowl of mashed potatoes with leftover gravy
    D: grilled steelhead trout, leaks, onions, mushrooms, fresh tomato, fresh garlic, baby artichoke sauce with fettucini, 1 glass of chardonnay
    Dessert: 1 frozen drumstrick ice cream treat

    Pre-workout snack: apple
    Weights and some cardio in hotel fitness center

    B: egg white omelet with turkey and cheese, 1 piece toast, skim milk and coffee
    L: chicken thigh, fish (never seen both served together), asparagus and green beans, rice, 3 small bites of delightful cheesecake
    S: banana
    Reception: 4 crackers with small amount of goat cheese and Brie
    D: Cliff bar - just wasnt hungry

    Back to fitness center and did some cardio on bike and elliptical. I MISS my bike...
