I'm finding that you can spend a small fortune on cycling or a large fortune! I'm also finding that lately I couldn't care less about shopping for work clothes--which is a HUGE change for me. I've always been a clotheshorse. I'm much more interested in shopping for workout clothes these days.

When it comes to cycling clothing, I've found that the three LBSs around me don't have much selection. I prefer REI, and I've been stalking Ebay for jerseys, but there's something slightly icky about the idea of cycling shorts on ebay.

Speaking of REI, does anyone know if they price match? I've found the cycling shoes I think I want online for $15 less than REI charges. I want to try them on before purchasing. I'm thinking of going to my local store and bringing the printout of the site where I found them cheaper.

A vast majority of my biking clothing has come from TE...even before I worked around the corner from their office/warehouse.

I have a few jerseys from other random places like Terry, Bonktown, or an LBS. When I first started riding and I was collecting bike stuff like mad, I also purchased from Performance and REI pretty frequently. I don't usually do that anymore (unless I see something spectacular) as I prefer to keep my cycling wardrobe limited to only things I REALLY love and not just tons of options.

All of my tri clothing is from either TE or directly from DeSoto when TE didn't have the size/color/style I needed.
