Yeah, I tried those too. Thanks.

I think Hornby is hatching now (9:22 EST). AJL is in chat trying to provide commentary over the excited din.
That baby is LOUD for someone still in its egg! I love it.
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks
Yes, that baby has a lot to say already. She's taking her time coming out, though.
oh, that is great news!!! Hope this year will be much better than last year!
but on the other hand, it makes me sad to know that the eggs at the Delta nest are duds. They were laid a good 2 weeks before the Hornby eggs. Breaks my heart that they are still tirelessly incubating the eggs![]()
I thought of you bird lovers yesterday when I heard on the ABC about a bird sounds app for smart phones

The Delta situation is sad. I've stopped watching anything but Hornby since my real-life hawk died. I know heartbreak is part of the deal in watching birds, but I can only take so much.
