    Dakar has Landed :)

Here is my lovely new Dakar, less than a week after I ordered her! I really like how easily the SRAM triggers shift. I am switching out the stock 11-32 cassette to an 11-36 cassette, and am considering ordering another SI Ldy Gel Flow saddle tomorrow & ditch the stock saddle.

Riding her today was like riding on a cloud, and I rode her over some quite rough pavement

Chainlove or bonktown has been having an SRAM 12-36 10 speed cassette for 50% off lately - $40 or $50.

Both bikes look great - I'm going to have trouble keeping your Ms. Plum separate from Zen's Miss Plum.

You are turning into a crazy bike lady

Turning into a crazy bike lady? Me-thinks I am already there Her actual name is Ms. Plum Blossom Rambler - so I will call the Gunnar Plum Blossom - that will keep her separate from Zen's bike

Pity I've already paid for the SRAM 12-36 10-speed cassette - but it wasn't much more than that and they aren't charging me labor. I also took the LBS guys some beer today, they are really liking me right now Now I must avoid that store until my scheduled fitting on May 13...must-stop-spending-money

Still have no idea what the name for the Jamis will be, but that will likely come once I can start taking her off-road.
