This is our Spring Break. Ours is tied to Easter because of the classified staff contract, so it's really late this year. We have 7 weeks when we get back. My students are so in need of a break. The PE teacher gave them a 5 out of ten yesterday for their behavior. That was first thing in the morning. It didn't get any better as the day went on, unfortunately.

They are just constantly picking at each other right now. And the drama...

It's a new day. Hopefully it will be better. I'm wearing my "Don't Be Mean" t shirt.

holy cow- that IS a late Spring Break!!!! We had ours 4 weeks ago- and that was too late.
Usually the bickering/nagging/drama doesn't start until late April/early May, but this year the day we came back from Spring Break the kids were ready for summer. It's been a long 4 weeks, and will be an even longer 6 weeks to go. *sigh*
Best of luck to you, Ms. V!
I like your shirt- I need to get one!!

Have a great time in Hawaii- sounds dreamy!!!!

When I was on the Big Island, my brother and I stayed at the hotel at the park. He ordered escargot, and I guess there was some gas under the membrane of one of the snails and it exploded dramatically in the dining room!

For dessert, we had pie with crust made from macadamia nuts. YUM!
