    I did it!

Last July, I was getting lots of advice from you all on what was to be my first full bike commute (I had been commuting half way by bike and half way by bus.) I was all set to go and excited.

The night before my first commute in, my husband dropped the bomb. He was divorcing me. He had already talked to a lawyer and there was nothing I could do about it. And I hadn't seen it coming, at all.

Nine months later, I'm fully divorced and finally getting my life back together. And today, I rode all 11 miles in to work. With my laptop. And mostly uphill. I'm pretty proud of myself. Now, to get home this afternoon...

Good for you!!! So glad you're back at it...a bad day on the bike is ALWAYS better for the heart and soul than a good day in a motorized vehicle, and here's to all the GOOD days on the bike!
