I go to work earlier in winter so I get more light for the afternoon ride.
Riding before work is a great option, Catrin. You'll feel so much better all day, more focused and HAPPIER! I work with a couple of depressed people, and I think cycling is the thing that's kept me from getting sucked into the abyss. I find if I don't ride, I start to feel the negative effects really quickly.
