Laugh that's the fun = avoiding all those folks on the strand. Helps develope bike handling skills. Although I have to say, in 1987 I had a very bad accident and fx my hip. A small child ran right in front of me once I hit Manhatten Beach. To avoid hitting the kid, I laid down my bike. No good, Fx my hip and wrist, sustained a bad head injury (yes I was going fairly fast at the time). The ride was on a week day, after work, in the winter when there's little traffic out there). So always need to watch out when riding a bike path.
