    Deb, the canoe race sounds fun.
    It makes me sad that we hardly use our very nice canoe. Every year less and less. I only do flat water paddling, but it's not like there's a lack of places to do that around here. The bike just gets in the way.

    SWEET!!!!! I'm jealous, we don't go until June 10th, but at least then I'll be in Key West for 10 days... vacation rawks!

    wooWOO! And here I was excited about getting to go to a convention with a bunch of my classmates this weekend... Ok, I'm still excited, but Key West! Count me in the 'jealous' party.

    We go every year and spend a week or two doing nothing but laying by/in the pool, riding scooters around town, eating amazing seafood, and enjoying free happy hour every night. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

    well, technically, it more of a "Workcation"
    I'm writing a historical novel in my copious spare time, so I'm go to Fort Wayne eek: to do some research.
    I think you've got me beat with Key west there...

    Agreed, Fort Lame is not my idea of a vacation hotspot. But writing a historical novel is cool as all get out!!! I read a lot of those (my favorite genre), when you're ready please share the title!
