I have an apres velo "true religion" biking t shirt and on the back in the list of rules for bikers is "never miss the Sunday sermon or long Sunday ride."

It was very windy here today so I wussed out and did a trainer session instead. Since my trainer is located in the garage, I moved it out onto the driveway and rode in the wind anyway, which since it was also about 80 but with 97 % humidity, ended up being very refreshing.

I fear however that I have further confirmed the neighbors image of me as a certified "weirdo" because I waved at them cheerfully while singing "lucy in the skies with diamonds" at the top of my voice as they drove past on their way to church. Besides "I dress funny."
