It's a sad day in my house for two Spartacus lovers

Less than half an hour till Paris Roubaix on Versus! 3 hours of coverage. Heaven, I'm in heaven.

That was a great race! I almost cried when Johan Van Summeren asked his girlfriend to marry him after the race. I am always happy for the winner, but that was something special. He rode his heart out. I've heard his name a bunch, but this is the first time I really got to see or hear him, and for that I feel lucky. Charming guy.

Poor Sylvain. Hard crash. I hope he's okay.

I watched the whole thing, but I was falling asleep, so I missed the marriage proposal.
Those crashes, oy. That seemed like the hardest race I have ever watched.

Very happy to see Johan take the win, after years of riding his guts out for Lotto etc. Some lovely pix, different to the usual sites, here. A Dutch friend is heading off to watch Amstel Gold next week, which takes in some of his training routes. So jealous!
