    Hi Deb, this really isn't too soon. I fell on Labor Day, Sept 5th, so it is 6 months. It wasn't until November that I was able begin holding on to my handlebars on the trainer beginning with putting my weight on my shoulders for short amount of time and increasing the time as I felt better. But I always pedaled for at least 30 minutes to keep my legs strong. I hope you are doing better. If I remember correctly, your injury happened last spring. Your story was my consolation that I will get better, but all in due time. Please feel free to keep me updated as to your progress.

    Thank you everyone for your kind words. It is nice to post about a cycling adventure instead of my injury.

    Lucky you to be in Hawaii! I love that place - wish I could figure out how to live there. I could picture just where you were riding too. Happy to hear you got back on the road.
