Yeah, isn't that annoying? We have a large, active cat with a healthy appetite, who eats or at least checks out everything that falls on the floor - raisins, scrap of lettuce, garlic, you name it - and who wolfs down every kind of dry cat food as if there were no tomorrow. But when we give her salmon scraps as a treat she sniffs and nibbles, and licks a little, and looks at us, and lets most of it be. Silly cat, you're supposed to be a predator.

Raisins are poisonous for cats, so keep those away from her.

miss ike not only looks at us disdainfully if we offer her anything resembling real meat or fish, but will silently and efficiently bury all the way around anything on the floor or in her dish she doesn't approve of. All this on a tile floor. Now the dogs on the other hand.......

Dear kids, I know its Monday and we're all suffering from the Monday blues but really?? POOP in the classroom and 3 attempts at SMOOSHING said poop with the brand new play rug? Boy, you really know how to show your teachers a good time.

Veronica, yes I do. This happens to be the 1 out of 10 days I totally lose my sense of humor since we were moving classrooms today too. I foresee a new health education topic for this term - "Poop - what you can and cannot do with it". It'll probably be funnier tomorrow morning.
