had an excellent ride today. So nice to have one now and then that reminds me why I do really love riding the bike although with all the other life stuff that has been going on recently, I seem to have forgotten or lost that love.

For once the winds actually stayed in the predicted 10-15 mph range instead of increasing to 20 mph ahead of all predictions. The temp was in the low 80's but the humidity was fairly low. There were scattered clouds which kept it from being too hot.

I actually passed a short local freight train that was poking along, exchanged waves with the engineer and got a toot in return.

35 good miles in 2 hours 10 minutes without stopping or stepping down except for two stop lights.
