    First Road Bike!

I went to Performance today and got my first road bike! I bought a hybrid (Fuji Absolute 2.0) through Performance a couple of years ago and they always took care of me so I decided to stick with them.

So I walk in and explain that I don't know my size because I've only been fit for a hybrid but I'm pretty sure I'll be 52. This guy pulls out a 44 and tells me it looks like it fits perfectly. Me: "are you sure? this seems really small to me" Him: "oh no it's good" (fast forward five minutes) Him: "oh I don't cycle, I surf. I don't know anything about bikes." Another employee who *does* know his stuff fit me and started actually showing me good bikes. It was between a Scattante W570 and a Fuji Roubaix 1.0 (with Sram components) and I picked the Roubaix.

Would post a picture of mine but it's in the shop because the bolts broke while putting on cages (apparently typical for Fujis). This is just a picture from the website. Anyways, wanted to show TE because I've learned more from this forum than anyone and I love hearing all of your stories!

thanks!! I took it out for the first time today in the freezing cold, but it was totally worth it. It definitely feels fast compared to my hybrid...
