    Bike lock: pole-climbing thing

    Check out this strange lock that slides up a pole with your bike out of reach. Just make sure your bike can slide back down the pole.. I guess it has limited use, given the sizes of trees, etc.

    I guess if people trust their batteries in their electronic shifters won't die on them, the same would be true of that remote...

    I want one. That's all there is to it.

    Sent it to a friend who said she'd buy a bike just so she could use this lock.

    It would draw a crowd, though, and maybe a cop who thought it was illegal.
