    Safety/"share the road" PSAs

    Glad to see that there is an effort to educate the public about bike safety and sharing the road in Maine since I will be moving there in a few months and intend to commute by bike as much as possible. Have any of you seen anything like this in other states? I certainly never have in MA.

    that's GREAT! (so is the other one about riding with traffic).
    I just posted this to FB so my friends all over the country can see it, too. I wish our state would run these PSA's (we have never had any cycling PSA's). It would go a long way to making us seem more real and explaining some of our behavior.

    Jolt - Bike Maine is an awesome organization that does a lot of good work educating both cyclists and drivers. They were one of the first with the 3 foot law. I know when DH and I ride up there, we typically are given the 3 feet (and then some), and most drivers are pretty courteous (at least the local ones!).

    You should join their organization - lots of good events, and advocacy.
