    Oh no! What a nightmare! I hope you get everything resolved quickly, and find a new bike you love as much as the old.

    RIP, good old bike. Glad you're both okay, and the dh recovers from his whiplash.

    Glad to hear you're okay!

    Will your auto insurance cover it as part of the loss from the accident? I just learned that some companies will cover cycling crashes under homeowners so I'm contacting mine today to see if my renters will covr my loss.

    From what I found on Trek's site (my wrecked bike is also a Trek), they have a loyalty program, but not really a crash replacement. You can probably get a discount if you buy another Trek.
