    I completely agree with that. Time is much more appropriate than miles to compare the two.

    I think I'm going to actually track time this year, rather than estimating it. Makes me feel better about myself than mileage

    I track both duration and distance. Just started using Training Peaks in November and I really like it.

    This post made me take a look at what I logged so far - about 83 hours in training miles + an additional 40 hours of other exercize (mostly skiing).

    This winter I am averaging about 8-10 hours a week between swimming, running, bike (indoors) and strength.
