Seeking tire suggestions...
Current tire is this...

Looking for less agressive tread to perform better on pavement. However, would still like the option of being able to ride it on dirt/gravel type roads /maybe short patches grass.
The things I like about the current tire is that it's a folding bead, and pretty light weight (320g) for 32 width. My tire rims range down to a 28 I believe (for another width option).
I did use the TE search funtion for some prior threads but the tires suggested that might fit the bill were wire beads and fairly heavier. Btw, I'm not racing on it... just anything lighter is always less fatigue imo/e.
TYIA.

My (really) NEW tour bike has Panaracer Tourguard Paselas in 26x1.5. I'm VERY impressed how smoothly they ride on asphalt, and no problems on grass. Got through some deep sand OK (I'm not really an offroad rider), and still need to find some gravel to test, although there isn't much in Florida.
My touring bike as Continental City Contact tires - 26x1.5. While they are not meant for gravel, I wound up on some the other day and they did fine. They are certainly tough and wear quite well.
Thanks for the replies thus far.
I looked at some on hand in one lbs I stopped in today, still weighing my options.
