    yesterday:
    whole wheat bagel, goat cheese, lox and capers, coffee, an orange
    left over corn and black bean salsa with chicken thrown in, blueberries
    Trader Joe's trail mix after my ride
    chicken with chutney, whole wheat cous cous, salad, 1 square chocolate

    Today:
    can of tuna over a sliced tomato and cheese with a small bowl of whole wheat cereal and 1% milk

    cranberry walnut chicken salad on lettuce and left over brown rice
    packet of trail mix, Luna Bar

    chicken with udon noodles, zucchini, carrots, Asian sauce made with Mirin, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ginger, garlic. 2 squares chocolate

    Yesterday:

    B: Ham, egg, cheddar sammy with whole grain bread, OJ, coffee
    S: Strawberries
    L: Bowl of leftover brown rice with a sprinkling of parmesan and lots of nice fresh homemade salsa, 1 cookie
    Snack: 1 brownie
    Dinner: Portobello mushroom stuffed with 1% ricotta, spinach, parmesan baked with homemade marinara sauce, pasta

    I was so very bad yesterday...

    B: steel ground oats, 1.5 cups skim milk, 2 scrambled egg whites and coffee
    S: fat free chocolate yogurt
    L: roasted skinless chicken breast (made with boiled egg, walnuts, roasted sweet red peppers and onions) and a small apple. More coffee
    S: fat free chocolate yogurt

    D: A delightful Cajun chicken/shrimp saute with veggies and brown rice - then toasted in a wrap. Lots of oil, and probably way more fat and sodium than I need in a week - but very yummy!

    I doubt the 40 minute strength training session + 90 minutes spinning that followed this made up for it...

    S: bran cereal with skim milk - was really craving carbs...so figured I would get some with fiber

    Way too many carbs/fat at dinner....but then again I am on a quite restrictive diet from my Endo and dietitian... though now riding season approaches I get to start adding more calories

    today:

    2 eggs and 2 slices of ww toast
    a banana
    ciabatta roll with melted cheese
    a ramen noodle soup with peas added to it
    a piece of blueberry cake (gotta get through the evening commute somehow)
    pasta with eggplant, olives and feta, 1 large bowl, smaller seconds
    another piece of blueberry cake, smaller
    1/2 an orange and I'm about to eat a pear if its ripe enough, if not, I'll have to struggle through the tasteless strawberries I keep buying for no good reason. I can't wait for peaches, plums, and cherries. Oh, and watermelon.

    today:
    B: 2 scrambled eggs with lox, an orange one cup of coffee
    L: Greek yogurt (non fat) with blueberries, cranberries, walnuts
    S: trail mix (more nuts and cranberries)
    S: half a whole wheat bagel and soy nut butter
    D: 2 very thin pork tenderloins with an apple type sauce (DH made this), salad, cous cous, 2 squares dark chocolate

    I'm still kind of hungry. I had a crisis on my way out the door at work and then I had to give a presentation in class, so I didn't eat all of my lunch (the half a bagel was part of my lunch). I was almost late and had to eat my snack in class, instead of before.
