No new bike. I've had it for 3 years; well the frame for 3 years, the components are about 5 years old, switched from the frame they sold me that was too big.
I was tired. Every ride ends with the 9-15% grade up my street, depending on which way you go up the loop, and then the 12% grade driveway.
And actually, the temperatures we are having now, 45-55 are my favorite riding temperatures. You usually don't have to take layers off if you dress right and it's not too hot. Above 75, I hate, and last summer was hotter than hell.

It took me 3 tries to get the friend who I was riding with to include the mountain in the far left background. She kept centering me and cropping out the mountain. Her picture came out much better!

Pardon the low-quality cell phone pics, but from this morning's ride:

A new pedestrian underpass opened by a high school near my parents' house. I decided to check it out (I walked my bike through it even though it was empty at the time ). There's cute artwork everywhere, painted tiles and mosaic. That's my Satellite in front.

And here's me, hamming it up. My phone camera does have a timer, but there was no place to set it up that would have gotten me a picture of anything useful.

Not my current ride, but the mountain bike I've had for years. And here I am, later that day:

I love creamsicles, too! We also have an orange and white cat...I'm sure he likes to think that he was the inspiration behind that bike.

wow, I'm having trouble keeping up. Zoom-zoom, your name fits you. And Kmehrzad, I am thinking you are named after Scheherazade, one of my favorite pieces of music, so whenever I see your posts, I think of Scheherazade whether you meant me to or not!!
Feral1, I expected that you'd have a fox for a pet, not a dog (with that name I mean)
    Isconniethere, nice to meet you!

glad to see you all posting here.

    Hi Mimi,

Yes, Scheherazade is a beautiful piece of music, very relaxing. You're good with word associations. I'd have never thought of associating Mehrzad and Scheherazade but it definitely works.

goldfinch-I really love your folder! I've always wanted one. Are there any major differences between the folders and solid bikes?
