Nice! I have spent the weekend drooling over a Giant catalog =) I can't wait to clear my desk and have time to get back to the bike shop! Well, I'm impressed, I can't see myself doing clipless at all, not to mention 17 miles the first day.

I got a Giant Avail 1 for my first road bike!!! I managed put 54 miles on it this weekend. The first day i practiced clipping in and out and did 17 miles, second day rode 25 miles, and today did a 12 mile ride. I'm so ready to learn all that i can about cycling.

Nice bike. Many happy and healthy rides to both of you.
Congrats!!!! Looks like you christened your new ride with some great distances! I think my first ride was 5 miles and I was worn out.
That's a beautiful bike!!!

Wow, lovely bike!
That's a lot of miles for one weekend if you're just starting to ride...you aren't sore or anything? I sure would be!

Thanks. I'm not sore at all, i guess it's because i work out on a regular basis. I used to have a hybrid but i haven't be on it for a few months while the cold weather was here. The second day my behind was a little sore at the beginning but the more i rode, i felt it less. Maybe i'll try some new shorts or saddle.
