14 miles on Saturday; the first 10 were so easy, the last 4 were tough. And it was in those last few miles that I saw a lot of other runners out on the streets, most of whom looked incredibly fresh...

Today, in honor of President's Day, I ran the length of the nearest street named for a president (Jefferson), then on past the statue downtown of a VP from here (Breckinridge), then on home. I was planning on going on to Lincoln Ave., but the wind was howling so I cut it short. 4 miles in all, but the wind made it feel like a lot more.
