    This is a good idea, I had not thought of this. I like my current HRM, and it works with the cardio equipment at my club so I don't have to always hold onto the handles - not that I will be there very often during cycling season for cardiovascular work. Thanks - I will look into this! I do know that the strap that comes with my Polar F11 watch is coded - "to prevent cross-talk". They do appear to sell the same Wearlink strap that isn't coded, which I will look into.
