Often riders will adorn their helmets with silk flowers or ribbons or other various and sundry frou-frou.
Another popular option has been known to attach a piece of lightweight netting or tule (sp?) to the back of your helmet for that lovely flowing veil effect, one benefit of which is that it makes it seem like you're going faster in photos![]()
Tiaras are optional, but are always appreciated. Scepters are somewhat frowned upon for safety concerns, particularly if they were originally cattle prods.
