Oatmeal. But now that I'm on a low-fibre diet, I guess cream of wheat. I can bring my own if it's not something you want on hand. Otherwise, the breakfast of Vikings is bread with cheese and/or jam.Originally Posted by Trek420

Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
fiber is good for you. Is this one of those crazy diets that is supposed to make you lose weight faster than say cutting excess calories and exercising more?Originally Posted by bikeless in WI

nah, not a crazy diet, or fad, Bikeless has to go low fiber for medical reasons.

No offense taken. Remove foot. It's licked clean by now. And you're hardly the only one who's never heard of a low-fibre diet. I tried ordering a special meal for two trans-Atlantic flights. "We have HIGH fibre," they cheerfully respond. Also low SALT (which I need to keep high, thank you very much) three varieties of vegetarian, three different types of Asian plus Halal, Kosher, and maybe a couple others. But LOW fibre? Never heard of it. I'm allowed to cheat now, tho. Makes things easier. Oh, and Trek -- I still hate soft-boiled eggs, so I count those as high fibre now.Originally Posted by Trek420
