    L: chicken salad and mayo, on lettuce, orange slices
    S: trail mix of nuts and dried cranberries, cup of coffee
    S: (in class) piece of whole wheat bread with humus
    D: salad of grilled chicken breast, whole wheat orzo, goat cheese, lettuce with oil and vinegar dressing, a handful of whole wheat pita chips, 2 squares dark chocolate
    S: half a small ciabatta roll with melted Machengo cheese

    Today...

    B: steel-cut oats with berries and skim milk. 2 scrambled egg whites
    S: forgot
    L: low-fat mozz. stick and roasted skinless chicken breast sliced and wrapped up in "leaves d'Romaine lettuce" Banana for dessert

    S: planning to have a small orange

    D: I've no idea as I am attending a "Ladies Night" at a local bike store where munchies and wine will be provided. I think it safer to stop by Jimmy John's on the way, or Pita Pocket, and have something healthy so I won't be hungry. I know I can find something decent to eat at either place - pretty much the only "fast foodish" type places I will consider. No real chance for veggies today I am afraid, outside of lettuce

    B: whole wheat bagel, with 2 slices of low salt ham and one slice of low fat provolone cheese, margarine, orange slices, 2 cups of coffee
    S: string cheese
    L: left over vegetable stew, with most of the cous cous thrown out, and some garbanzo beans thrown in, blueberries
    S: small mocha latte with skim milk and a couple of bites of my friend's morning glory muffin
    D: portabella burger with lettuce and tomato at Flat Patties
    S: Luna bar

    Yesterday:

    B: coffee and cup of low fat yogurt

    One hour toning class at work (light resistance training and ab work).

    L: orange with a small serving of pasta with marinara sauce and mixed veggies

    40 minute brisk walk/run

    D: mushroom barley soup and grilled cheese sandwich

    Today: Starving! I didn't eat enough yesterday and I'm paying for it today.

    oatmeal with blueberries and pecans
    cheddar cheese on multi-grain bread
    cheese tamale with brown rice, broccoli, corn, and tomatillo salsa
    yogurt with pecans (I'm addicted to pecans these days)
    pasta with lentils and tomatoes, 2 bowls
    fruit-2 apples, 2 oranges

    That seems like a pretty small amount for me. Maybe I'm forgetting something, but I think that's it.

    I was VERY bad for dinner yesterday. I had hoped that getting something relatively healthy from Jimmy John's before the "Ladies Night" at the LBS would help me to resist the goodies I knew would be there. While I didn't succumb as badly as I could have, I was still pretty bad. Scales were up 3 pounds this morning - probably from the sodium

    No use kicking myself over something that happened yesterday, today is another day:

    B: Bran cereal with 1 cup low-fat Kefir and a small amount of walnuts. Am craving nuts for some reason
    S: forgot
    L: 3/4 cup left-over Tempeh stuffed pepper, 1 mozz stick (low-fat)
    S: Cliff bar

    Planning either a bike ride or spinning class, it depends on the wind. Probably spinning because of the high wind but time will tell.

    Dinner: Planning to finish my remaining Tempeh stuffed pepper/mixture, green salad with tomatoes and onion, and will probably steam some frozen veggies to go along with it.

    Back to my usual and better habits tomorrow.

    L: Tuna sandwich with whole wheat bread - piece of chocolate
    S: Rice with paprika chicken sauce, 1 beer
    D: Homemade Lasagna - piece of garlic toast with olive oil, bit of parmesan, 1 glass red wine
