OMG, I am so out of touch and spend NO time with tween girls (and almost no time at malls), that I actually hadn't seen this trend. I have, however, seen the thong "floss" that shows outside the top of jeans, which I guess is similar. Just don't get it!

I have also seen the Ugg boots with short skirts or shorts; I live in a college town, so they're very popular. I don't have Ugg boots. Actually, they look comfy.

I am not a fashionista & am really really confused about the prositute look..Really really really short skirt, sexy top & the horrible high heels that remind me of the 70's..on a teen..i think it was a teen..

Someone want to explain this to me???? I walk around in sports type shorts and t shirt thinking i'm the one with the fashion issue...

    ------

Sorry, about fake pockets...perhaps the manufacturer needs to buy extra material or something stupid like that..

I like the short skirt and Uggs look, but of course my short skirts aren't of the skanky variety.
I don't get the underwear showing, either. This trend has been around since the late eighties, as I remember having to tell my students to pull up their pants when i lived in AZ. And the unzippered short shorts? Well, I never saw that at school, but I have seen it on the street. Frankly, I wear thongs so my underwear doesn't show.
My pet peeve is people who go to work with cleavage showing. Now maybe I don't like it because I don't have any, but I think it's quite unattractive under any circumstances. One of the other interns is in her early twenties and it amazes me how much she shows. A therapist should not be dressing like that! But, I know to her, that's the way you dress and she doesn't see it as "sexual" or skanky. I wear camisoles under some of my low cut sweaters or dresses and I am constantly making sure that the camisole is up high enough!

I do have one pair of Uggs - but they don't look like traditional Uggs. I would never wear them with a skirt or shorts, but they look fine with slacks or jeans and I've no problem wearing them to the office. They are WARM, even for walking around downtown Indianapolis in our current Arctic temperature spell...

boy me too. Why do people think we want to see t heir cleavage? how did that become attractive? Why on earth do girls/women think they have to display their private parts? I guess they aren't private any more are they.

And all you UGGS people, you don't have to feel guilty about wearing them, just be sure to pull up your zippers !!
