    Fantastic photos!! I'd absolutely LOVE to take on those hills in such a beautiful city as San Francisco.

    The view from Twin Peaks is the best ever; I've been there several times and would love riding the ascent and descent to the peaks at some point.

    Several Phil phrases come to mind looking at those photos: "He's going into the pain cave now" ... "he's popped" ... "his suitcase of courage is empty" ... "he's throwing out the sand bags now!" ... "shut your eyes, shut your mind to the pain" ... "the elastic has snapped!"

    I sent that link to my (non-biking) friend who is a native of SF. She sent them on to her cousin who does cycle, and who plans to visit SF soon. Supposed to be inspiration for him...

    Inspirational or no, really great photos.
