froze my butt off yesterday on a 24 mile ride to Seattle's Alki point and back. I had on wool knickers, wool kneesocks, and rainpants! As welll as a wool teeshirt + winter insulated jersey + raincoat!

Today is clear and sunny, but 16 degrees. I might bundle up and go for a walk, because I need to go to the grocery store anyway.

I know what you mean Kermit. It is 62 degrees here and too chilly to ride, windy too.

I am in awe - I would give, well, a LOT, to have those temps to ride and and da*n the wind! It is indeed all relative though, as you and Kermit meant - and that applies to wind just as much as temps.

62 felt GREAT for a ride here in NC on Sunday. But that's the warmest it's been in a few months, so I understand. I'm sure if I lived in Miami I would have stayed inside too!
