ooops! I wasn't done yet!!! BikerHen - I'm not sure it is possible that there is anyone as pokey as I am, but I will be working hard to get my training in ... I don't know if you have read any of my posts but I broke my arm and don't get the cast off until 3/1 UGH!!! Prior to falling on my patooti, I had just barely started riding again after about 7 years off ... so, I am really back to square one! Very motivated though, thanks to this board!

I am SO looking forward to this ride!!!

I'm in Brigham City at the crystal inn; for some reason the internet room rate was less expensive than for the same room at the crystal inn up in Logan?? Its not so far from Logan that I can't meet everyone for dinner or something

There was also a really beautiful resort actually in Wellsville but it was a little too expensive ... but I've got to admit... the idea of a spa on-site for a post ride massage sounded really great there for a minute

I'm sure there will be some sort of pre-ride dinner; I can't wait!! How much riding are you doing now? I'm trying to put together a plan with a reasonable 'ramp up' ... basically it will be a 90 day plan... any infinate wisdom will be greatly appreciated!

Hey Tracy look forward to meeting you at LRRH. As far as training goes ...hmm well for me its just trying to get out as often as I can and increasing the distance little by little on my longest ride each week.

Good to know Bikerhen and I have another rider to mosey along with.

    Trekhawk,

I look forward to meeting you too! I think you are up near where my sister has a house; I am SO jealous! Its beautiful there! How many times each week do you usually get out to ride? I have a standing hike each week but I should be able to ride 2 - 4 times a week. I've also signed up for a couple of rides between now and then to keep me motivated!

    Whoooo Hoooo!

Tracy, you may need to change your username. Somehow tprevost just isn't fitting in with the flock of birds that seems to be congregating. Hens and hawks together. Will there be mayhem????????

    Little Red Riding Century

Hi Gals, I am interested in checking out LRR! I am doing the Cinderella, my first century and am new to biking. Do you think the hills in Utah, are good for beginners like me? Thanks, B

I try to get out at least three times a week (one of these is MTB with a friend), sometimes I manage four but other times it might only be two. I have three kids and a husband with a bizarre schedule so planning is something that seems to happen day to day.

Im signed up for a couple of rides before LRRH too so hopefully this will help add some distance and as you said keep the motivation level up.

    Happy riding.

The website for this ride says "no big climbs". SadieKate has done this one so perhaps she can fill you in on all the good info.

Come along we would love to meet some more TE girls.

    The more the merrier!

Go back to post #11 in this thread to find the link to my post about last year's ride.

I haven't decided on Amtrak or flying or whatever. I need to find out if Bubba is going to have any company for the drive out. There is a possibility.

Not sure if others have made definite decisions.
