    So if you live in a heavily populated area, you're more likely to hear swearing? Except apparently in the Salt Lake City area.

    It's hard to tell from that little image, but I wouldn't characterize it that way. Look at South Florida. That place is so congested that I'm swearing just thinking about it, yet it's not particularly bright in comparison to a lot of places. And Saginaw, way more profane than Detroit??

    I wonder how much language bias there is in that study. You notice he only searched on English cusswords.

    This is so true, and not only immigrants, but professional athletes who have to give interviews in English. It's pretty comical the words they learn from their American and British competitors.
