Am I computer-illiterate?

I have also stopped receiving email notification of PMs.

I see in the User CP there is an "edit settings" option that says:

The forum can send a message to your email address to inform you when someone sends you a private message.
____Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages


Thing is, this box is CHECKED, so I should be receiving email notifications. I am not.

My box is checked as well, but I am not receiving the e-mail.

Don't know what subscription to threads is, so I cannot say whether that would work or not...
