In general, women's shoes are a B width. Mens are a D. The men's wide I purchased are EE.
Wish "they" would make women's wides, but then they'd probably only do a D width.
Few people fit into the cookie cutter moulds of mass produced goods. Sizing of most gear is an gross average of size data that is all over the map. Look at how much time and money we spend on getting bike fit right.
